Search

⌥ Space opens the palette from anywhere.

It searches four places at once: the shelf, the clipboard, your notes and the text in your screenshots.

• Results are ranked: prefix matches first, then fuzzy ones.
• Each result has its own actions.
• Recent items are ordered by how often and how recently you used them.
• It works from the keyboard: type, arrows, Return.

The index lives on your Mac and only covers what Shelf already stores.

You can also open it with a query from a script or Shortcuts: cortexshelf://search?q=git%20rebase (see Automation).
